New Sessomatto delivers drama with ‘You’re Gonna Love Me’

Sessomatto deliver high drama and even higher camp on their remake of the Broadway classic, ‘You’re Gonna Love Me,’ a song given a new lease on life in recent times by Hollywood.

‘90s house diva Carolyn Harding is charged with matching Jennifer Holiday’s original, and does a sterling performance in holding the attention as well as hitting those glass-shattering notes.

Although there are no credits to indicate otherwise, I’m assuming this Z Records release is the work of Dave Lee under his often sported guise, easily rivaling his past contributions of ‘I Need Somebody’ and ‘Movin’ On.’
