New release on Pale Music Int. by Grizzly ‘Serial Killer Tracks 04 - Dich’

Grizzly [a] – ‘Serial Killer Tracks 04’

The fourth edition of Pale Music International’s ‘Serial Killer Tracks’ presents ‘Dich’ from Grizzly in three versions.

The original from Joe Masi and Ludwig Engel aka Grizzly, already released on Berlin Insane Compilation IV, is surrounded by remixes from the label’s resident DJ Team The Scandals [a] and the Berlin minimal master Peter Grummich [a] (Shitkatapult).

‘Dich’ isn’t grooving only as a post-punk hit, but also as future rock ’n roll and minimal dancefloor smasher.

Grizzly is a collaboration of Joe Masi and Ludwig Engel.

The sound artist and his vocal companion try to make sense of living in Berlin at beginning of the 21st century.

Combining post-existentialistic elements of punk with pop melodies, they set out to bring some substance into the much abused (and way to much recognized) German singing music scene.

“The songstructure, which is similar to German indie songs of the last years, sounds here in another way: more beat-up and chemical… ‘I mean you, and not me’ is for sure a successful sentence of German arty text production.” (Dorfdisco, CD Review Berlin Insane IV, translated from German original)
