Scott Ferguson’s mix of “Groove” is dubby and organic, spinning organ keys and a deep filtered saw pad swirl behind a low and heavy bass drum, groovy bass line, crispy 909 hats, and reggae style guitar. Catchy keys move along with the spattering congas and guitar leading into a break that introduces the horn section. “That’s a groove baby"…
Secondly a remix by label-mate and the “Master of Darkness”, Silvio Manuel. Silvio slows down the BPM, spaces out the keys, and replaces the funky guitar with an even funkier Clavinet. Supper deep, dark, and dubby this is a slow-burner for late-night Detroit basement “after parties"…
