New Release by Eric D. Clark & The Scandals ‘Summer Cruising’ (Pale Music International)
10 September, 2007 | 8.03AMHouse music legend Eric D. Clark
is known for his sensational success with Whirlpool Productions and his Club hit ‘From Disco To Disco’ in summer 1997.
‘From Disco to Disco’ is exactly what Eric likes most, besides working in the studio.
Equally appreciated in gay clubs, straight or mixed, Eric, born in San Francisco, brings his music to all places where people know how to party.
He plays euphoric sets, which always eye the house music roots from the disco days and have an extra portion of glamour and funkiness in the music.
Eric follows the actual trends from electronic music scene. For that reason his style is inimitable and manifold.
Eric met the expressive Berlin DJ Team The Scandals
in Berlin.
Before their sensational success at this year’s Sonar Festival, they worked together with Eric on a double-front cover EP.
THE SCANDALS are famous for transforming the crowd into an ocean of dancing bodies with their mixture of rock and roll, new wave and electro elements.
The result is a fresh, summer-like EP, which swings with ease in the ears.
Accordingly it goes by the name ‘Summer Cruising’.
Urban tropical sound to smash the dancefloors: the song ‘Credo’ in its original form is going to be on Eric’s forthcoming album ‘E=dC2’, which is going to be released on Firm Records this September - while the song ‘Why did you do it’ can easily advance to the summer hit of the year.
