New DJ Shortee releases baby! April 2009

The dynamic duo Faust & Shortee have been a powerhouse in the Dj world for well over a decade electrifying audiences and covering everything from Hip-Hop, Breaks, House & Drum&Bass trick sets all scratched to perfection and style with obsessive technicality. Urban Assault (aka Faust & Shortee) stormed onto the drum & bass scene with the debut of their funky dance floor smasher “Away” which was nominated for best drum & bass/jungle track in the 2008 International Dance Music Awards! Most recently they dropped a remix of Phantasy, Nicky Blackmarket and Skibadee tune “Crank” and also a remix of the infectious anthem “Do You Believe” originally by DC Breaks.

Urban Assault keep things moving fast and heavy with their funky dance floor smashers “Red Raider” & “Untouchable”! On “Red Raider” tension builds as menacing horn riffs and narrative vocals introduce the drop into relentless grimey stabs and warped swelling bass riffs. “Untouchable” brings the ruckus for all the Jump Up massive with a contagious vocal hook while the melodic synth hook catapults crowds into a frenzy! More to come from this duo….. These tunes are currently making the rounds to some of the most influential names in the business and getting massive support from some of the worlds top DJs.
