Nero: Promises + Skrillex & Calvin Harris remixes

From the video to Nero’s “Promises,” it looks like they’ve been watching a lot of THX-1138, Minority Report and The Matrix. (Also, it looks like Kanye’s not the only one who digs Martin Margiela—check out those sunglasses!)

Musically, “Promises,” featuring Alana Watson, has its eyes fixed firmly on the crossover turf staked out by Magnetic Man. Given that the tune debuted at #1 on the UK singles chart, it looks like Nero pretty much nailed it.
