No time to take off your glitter shorts and sunglasses!

September will see the Name festival renewing its collaboration with the Departmental Council of the North to propose a genuine cruise: 3 crazed week-ends fueling on multimedia and electro music and using magical locations as playgrounds.

Fiery kick-start in the Lille urban area, followed by a moonlit escapade (in Studio 54 spirits) in Maubeuge, and a grand finale in Dunkerque, with bonus sunrise over the sea!

In this new edition, past highlights come to life again with the kids’ afternoon session, night session in a swimming pool, DJ & VJ contest, the ‘My Name is…’ operation on the Lille Opera square…

So, what’s new this year?

Underground melody at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille, sound experiences and weight lifted visit to the stars at the Planetarium in Villeneuve d’Ascq, rotative bus transport to the Condition Publique in Roubaix for two special ‘Party animal’ evenings …

The 2007 edition also introduces cinema with the outstanding presentation of the ‘Lagerfeld Confidential’ documentary, a debate with the philosopher Yves Michaud, software masterclasses etc…!

From before drinks to early morning afters, follow the guide!

The lines-ups will reveal dance floor gurus and fingering fiddling geniuses of course, but the Name festival promises nice surprises as artists we loved in the previous editions come back to unravel hidden aspects of their talent: explosive versus, devilish lives and special DJ sets are on the agenda!
