The fourth annual Mutek festival in Mexico has kicked off with a line-up of quality cutting-edge electronic music DJs and digital artists. Based on the award-winning Mutek festival in Montreal, Mutek.MX has become one of South America’s most important electronic music gatherings.

Running till October 13th 2007, a wealth of international and local DJs and artists will perform at this year’s event.

Artists due to perform include Jackson & His Computer Band, Sebastian, Gabriel Acevado, Akufen and Biosphere.

Mutek.MX is taking place in two new cultural venues in Santiago this year, Teatro Ángela Peralta and Estación Indianilla (an old power station that has been transformed into an installation space).
