Musinaut offer free MXP4 training in London

MP3 might be the preferred format of choice for digital music files currently, but since its launch in September over 5000 artists have downloaded the free next generation MXP4 Creator from Musinaut.

The French company hopes to change the way we consume digital music with its new MXP4 technology which offers better encoding quality than MP3, plus splits digital music files into layers and tracks, allowing users to create their own remixes on the fly.

They’re now also offering a free three-hour MXP4 training class in central London on 25th and 26th November with the aim of educating consumers about the benefits of the new technology.

During the three hour session students will learn:

- About interactive digital music technology and how it can improve your creativity and song writing ability

- How to import your audio files from your sequencer

- How to structure your MXP4 project (define skins and patterns)

- How to add multimedia content (images, text to be synchronized on audio at playback time)

- How to use the audio features to polish your title (sound FX, master compression)

- How to give listeners and fans a true MXP4 experience including audio richness and unpredictability

- How to get the best out of the MXP4Creator and the technology

- How you get ahead of the pack and become an early-adopter in the next stage of digital music creation

If you’re interested in dipping your toes into MXP4 email charo@vp-pr.com to book your place.

The MXP4Creator software is free to download only until 31st December 2008 (normal RRP £279), so it’s definitely worth testing out even if the technology doesn’t catch on.
