We were deeply saddened by the discontinuation of GigaStudio earlier this year, as its passing abandoned a lot of users who had invested heavily in the software.

Clearly, MOTU were saddened also.

So much so that they’ve just unleashed a killer offer on their competing MachFive softsampler.

And the offer isn’t strictly for GigaStudio owners either.

If you currently own one of the softsamplers listed below - and can prove it - MOTU will knock off a whopping $200 off the price of MachFive 2, lowering the cost to a mere $295.

MachFive’s got a great set of features, along with a 32 gigabyte bank of essential instruments, some recorded in four-channel surround sound, which should make it quite tantalizing - especially if you’re a former GigaStudio user.
