More Kore in store

Native Instruments’ KORE system just keeps rolling along and getting better and better.

Their latest round of improvements and enhancements comes in the form of some extremely interesting software products – and a price cut on the original KORE 2 hardware.

Check it all out after the jump.

KORE 2 Announcements

Native Instruments’ KORE platform has been steadily gaining steam since its original introduction a few years back – and it’s no surprise, since the NI array of softsynths have become a staple in producers’ arsenals ranging from Jaytech to Tritonal.

In addition to an enticing price cut to their KORE 2 with hardware controller package – now $449 / 399 EUR – NI has announced a software-only edition for use with existing MIDI controllers.

The aptly named KORE 2 Software Edition lists for $229 / 199 EUR and provides full KORE functionality (CPU dependent, naturally) in a software product.

And if/when users are ready to upgrade to the KORE hardware controller, there’s an upgrade path for that, too.

More information on KORE 2 can be found here.

KORE Electronic Experience

With an ever expanding line-up of sound libraries for their KORE and KORE 2 products, it was only a matter of time before a value-packed bundle hit the shelves – and just in time for the oncoming holiday season.

Sporting 800 instrument patches, 150 powerful multi-effects and 10 drum kits, Native Instruments’ KORE Electronic Experience seems poised to break into the Top 10 of every producer’s holiday wish list.

The collection delivers a boatload of synthesizer and drum sounds generated by the integrated REAKTOR, MASSIVE, ABSYNTH, FM8 and KONTAKT sound engines, as well as a slew of effects for mangling – or prettying up – audio signals.

Here’s a list of what’s included, snagged from the NI KEE product page:

For producers with a penchant for immediate gratification, this bundle sure looks like a winner to us.
