Following the constant complaints regarding the same songs being on all the mix CDs but in different orders, I have taken on a new feature titled “Mix CD of the Month”.

This will be released at the beginning of every month and will help the followers of the funky movement find CDs with more pleasurable listening.

D-Pressure – ‘Summer Soulbox Summer 08’

Having been nicknamed the “New Kid on the Block”, D-Pressure has proved that being a newcomer doesn’t exclude your ability to be a leader of the pack.

Summer Soulbox 08 has a smooth selection of Soulful House tracks without any trace of the standard club bangers that are becoming tedious due to over exposure on mix CDs and repeated play in various events.  With additions of the latest tracks from MA-1 and Perempay, and Broken Dreams from Afrodisiax, this is a CD that I’ll be playing for a while……
