Ministry of Sound launch DJ Academy
11 November, 2008 | 5.19PMNot content with ruling the world of compilation CDs for dance music first-timers, Britain’s Ministry of Sound has decided to launch a DJ academy for aspiring jockeys.
Based on a curriculum devised by a full-time lecturer at Guildford’s Academy of Contemporary Music, the one-day courses are being offered for a whopping £300.
But unlike the plethora of DJ courses available in London, Ministry’s will see special guest teachers like house veteran Danny Rampling, drum & bass hero Ray Keith, Hacienda resident Chad Jackson and UK garage DJ Karl ‘Tuff Enough’ Brown.
And pupils will even get the chance to spin in the famous Ministry of Sound DJ booth.
