Ministry of Sound axes club in New Delhi

According to Billboard, India’s New Delhi Ministry of Sound club continues to operate — although Ministry of Sound has pulled its license agreement.

The dispute arose due to the financial dealings of Indus, who operates the club.

Indus is said to have failed to pay DJ and license fees, plus related expenses to Ministry of Sound.

Other non-specified contractual breaches are also cited.

The club launched in February of this year.

Billboard confirms that there are plans for an early 2008 New Delhi replacement venue to add to Ministry of Sound’s several international locations.
