Miika Kuisma serves distinguished dance music

Finnish dance music itself has become a global concept over the past years. One of the most well known Finnish producers Miika Kuisma has earned his reputation by being an unpredictable artist whose signature sound however, no matter the style happens to be, is always easy to recognise. His brand new album: Sententia, is one of the most anticipated trance records this year.

While his debut album Inwardgaze was mostly a compilation of his selected works, Sententia was crafted and planned into it’s final form, down to the smallest detail. It’s something people will want to listen from beginning to end in one session. Sententia is more relaxed than it’s predecessor, yet containing Kuisma’s trademark key elements, such as hypnotic rhythms, driving bass lines and mellow cinematic atmospheres.

Both singles already released from the CD have hit the number one spot in download charts and the third single: ‘One Morning By The Riverside’ has been featured on various compilations, including GU30 by Nick Warren and Opus by Mr.Sam.

Apart from vocal spice by Cristal Snow and Karen Ires, Sententia is completely an instrumental album. Other collaborations in addition to ‘Till The Dawn’ and ‘Break Away’ , also ‘Take Another Look’ was written together with Olli Sovijärvi. Sententia is going to be released in mid November on Miika’s own Subtraxx label in co-operation with Belgian Bonzai Music.
