Miguel Migs at Lovefest

To house music aficionados who know how to have a good time, the deep sounds of Miguel Migs are just the ticket during the San Francisco Lovefest.

A long-time San Francisco resident and community fixture, Migs appears on the San Francisco House float before heading over to the Deep Blue event to party the night away in style.

Floats are stages during this huge annual parade known as Lovefest that overtakes San Francisco for one day only, Saturday, September 29th.

In fact, the entire party is in the street.

At least during the daytime.

Something tells us that Miguel Migs has the perfect tunes for any party, any place.

He’s just released the full-length album ‘Those Things’ earlier this year on his own Salted Music to high critical acclaim, but his name first crossed the threshold of artists to watch when releasing cuts on the genre-solidifying Naked Music label in 1999.

And, of course, there are the releases on OM records, also out of San Francisco.

Add remixer extraordinaire to his list of qualifications, yet he got his start as a guitarist in the world of dub.

A listen to his music clearly explains why Migs considers himself a soul artist first and foremost — the music is just the medium.

Migs tours the globe, but the dedication to his city is apparent.

Here’s where you can catch Miguel Migs at Lovefest this Saturday:

1. In the parade on the San Francisco House float, and

2. At Deep Blue with Miguel Migs. Also DJing are M3, Rooz, Michael Anthony, Bo and suprise special guests. Follow the link below for details.
