Tiny Sticks comes up trumps again with this discoid hypnosis from cult US producer Fernando Miranda Rios (aka Michoacan).

This is the second Michoacan EP ‘Tiny Sticks’ have put out following the intoxicating ‘She’s Sent (Heaven)’ in 2006 and the remixes are no less impressive this time around.

Carefully crafted with the sounds of an analogue obsessive and a robotic tempo, the original is an intergalactic industrial crawler than revolves far outside the realm of most of today’s digital production methods.

Up and coming Berlin producer Mujaba follows with a brooding minimal house treatment that creeps under your skin and throws you onto the shadows of the dance floor.

A twisted house groover, if you like the sound of Dixon or Innervisions, check this out.

New Yorker Nick Chacona’s mix is a prettier and altogether more sedate pill to swallow. Peppered with sweet triangle chimes and building into one great big musical hug, this is one for the end of a night rather than a beginning.

Crack Crock is more of the same Michoacan mastery; atmospheric, intergalactic, strange and genius.
