‘Miami’ just in time

With his ‘Space Miami’ compilation doing the business on New York’s legendary Nervous label, Oscar G. returns with one of the key tracks elevated to single status.
‘Miami’ is a fitting tribute to a city the man has made his home, and now in his seventh year as resident DJ at the city’s renowned Club Space, the timing couldn’t be better either.
‘Miami’ is a chunky Latin-influenced tribal house cut in the old fashion sense of the word befitting the producers’ Murk roots, and like his live DJ sets it’s a shrewdly structured mix of percolating beats, synth-driven basslines and tripped-out vocals.
