are a band destined for great things. This suave bunch of mid-20-somethings, who look like they’ve just fallen out of the display window at American Apparel, will release their new album The English Riviera on the French indie label Because Music later this year.
These dashing British dance-rockers have already clocked their share of hits, including ”Heartbreaker”, ”Nights Out,” and ”She Wants,” and they’ve remixed the likes of Diplo, Joakim, Dntel, and Lykke Li. (Their own tunes have been reworked by Discodeine, Kris Menace, Sinden, and Breakbot, among others.)
They kicked off the year with ”She Wants,” a sweetly melancholic album teaser, and now they’re back with Fred Falke’s remix of ”The Look” a gorgeous example of sumptuous synth pop over chugging French house beats. Massive!
