Metro Area releases are always something special.

Maybe it’s the fact that we’ve had to wait over two years for this latest installment, which adds that extra bit of magic.

Morgan Geist and Darshan Jesrami make sure the anticipation hasn’t been in vain and return to the fore by including vocals on one of their productions for the first time.

‘Read My Mind’ is an impeccable sonic invasion.

Punchy live beats, big time synths and futuro disco vibes set the stage for a warm vocal delivery from Phillip Owusu.

His sweet tones drip right into the heart of the track without taking any attention away from the duo’s electronic mastery.

For those who prefer Metro Area’s traditional instrumental nuances, there are two further interpretations to choose from: a straight up Instrumental and the ‘RMM Special Dub’.

On the Dub, subtle tweaks give it more grind, but it doesn’t stray too far from the original.

‘Erodyne’ is classic Metro Area cosmic disco.

Arpeggiators are on overdrive as soaring melodies and pads build and sway — and just when you thought you had this beast penned, in it shoots off in yet another direction.

This will appeal to all genuine music lovers and is definitely worth the wait.
