Martyn has always led the path when it comes to avant-garde mix sets and productions. He’s quite the conceptual artist on both fronts, but he steers into a whole new realm with this latest musical video, or shall we say short film. 

With direction from artist and film maker Ramón Gieling, the video unveils a portrayal of the death of Martyn’s father, the highly decorated Dutch football player Gerrie Deijkers who died in 2003 of cardiac arrest. Martyn takes the leading role as actor in the portrayal of what we can only believe to be an excruciatingly personal story. The video uses seberal tracks from Martyn’s debut album, including ‘Bridge’ and ‘Right?Star!’.
