Marshall & Milosh traverse “The Valley”
Marshall & Milosh traverse “The Valley”
23 December, 2010 | 2.15AMAdam Marshall’s New Kanada
imprint has been going from strength to strength lately, showing an admirably ambitious range. Paris’ Seuil
, generally known for percussive house flavors, turned in an epic exercise in dubstep-influenced techno with his ”Moonpark” EP. The Mole burrowed deep into our subconscious with the subliminally sexy ”Nervous Disid” and its spooky, slow-mo accompaniment, “Secret Mummy.” And Marshall himself has been on fire with tracks like the acidic ”Burn It Down” and ”Noise In.” Now he and Plug Research artist Milosh deliver a stunning, swoon-worthy track just in time for end-of-year snowstorms and heartbreak.
It’s an unusually melodic undertaking for the Berlin-based Canadian—unabashedly emotional, but boasting drums as tough as they come, and disorienting swirls of filters and delay. A real stunner, in other words. Check out the video above, and keep reading to catch up with New Kanada’s recent catalogue. You’ll be glad you did.
