Mark Knight announces co-production competition winner

The entries have been uploaded, collected, and put into round-the-clock rotation, and at long last, we’re happy to announce that Mark Knight has selected a winner in the co-production competition!

But before we unveil the name, in addition to the grand prize winner, there’s more. Due to the overwhelming number of submissions—more than 700, in fact—Mark and Toolroom Records have decided to pick four runners-up, whose co-productions for the contest will be featured on a remix package at a later date.

Drew Scott & Hollywood Hills earned the top prize, thanks to a fantastic interpretation of the original parts that was superbly produced and promises to hit hard when it’s officially released on Mark’s forthcoming ‘Toolroom Knights 3.0’ album.

As part of their prize package, Drew Scott & Hollywood Hills receive 50% of publishing and an equal share of artist sales royalties, a full PR and marketing campaign to help launch their career, plus a slew of producer-friendly goodies: a SoundCloud Pro account, Native Instruments’ Maschine, Focal CMS 50 studio monitors from SCV London, an annual subscription to Sonicacademy with six months personal mentoring, and a $200 Beatport voucher.
