While [Marcello Dicembre] had previously published other works before, seem to feel better when able to express himself with a longer format on this 5-track EP, combination that has proved to be consistent and timeless. Clearly, those bass-lines and frenetic rhythms filled with funky hooks begin to sound fresh in the current linear-scene of clubbing.

After all… that’s expected from a saxophonist and pianist like him. Precise, accurate melodic Stabs riding on skeletal elastic rhythms, almost human and organic. This mini-album sounds upbeat decorated by dance shots and strange electronic frills, and is full of dub lines so deep and so juicy and magnetic that appears to be an attractive character for those fans of this sound.

Produced so well, this piece could take you forget that is a “modern-technique” recorded material and let yourself be covered by sounds from the “old-times”. It seems that the author never forget his musical feeling or the elegance characteristic from this genre.
