‘Body Language’ was a breakthrough track for Get Physical Music, M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade. On the back of the record’s success the Berlin label and both sets of producers became global brands. The track itself has become one of electro house/minimal techno’s biggest hits, and has been featured on countless CD compilations, radio shows, computer games and TV adverts. It is still a highlight in Booka Shade’s live sets.

‘Body Language’ is one of those tracks that manages to implant itself firmly in your head after one listen.

Yet despite its catchy melody and minimal drum pattern you never ever tire of it.

This is a modern dance anthem - it may only be a couple of years old but when I look back at my sepia-tinted photos from the summer of 2005 in Ibiza, I hear ‘Body Language’ playing over and over in my head.
