The rise of Synkro through the ranks has been relatively subtle, with a few releases scattered between the Smoking Sessions and Dubbed Out labels.

With these few releases under his belt Synkro has already managed to scratch out a characteristic sound leaning towards old school garage, whilst simultaneously showcasing his heavy Burial influence.

Due to either geography or prominence alone Burial’s influence has begun to seep its way through the music circles and that characteristic sound has become more and more noticeable in artists’ productions today.

Synkro has built on this influence and crafted a sound that’s flavoursome, with crafty two step beats and sweeping atmospheric dashes that add a deepness that’s normally only associated with the likes of TRG or Ramadanman, yet this new talent has blended it effortlessly into his work.

For those who loved TRG’s ‘Put Your Down’ or Martyn’s ‘Broken’, checking out this new up and coming artist is a must.
