Loopmasters are a formidable name in the sample CD world.

Trying to push boundaries (after last year’s successful experiment with David Carbone), they bring us Drum & Bass Volume 1, featuring genuine sounds crafted by Nu:Tone.

Having interviewed Nu:Tone before, I’m fully aware that this brilliant (yes - brilliant) drum & bass producer put a horrendous amount of effort into his sample CD.

The man is a clinical genius, and wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he put his face on a sample CD for the sake of it.

He’s therefore gone the whole nine yards, providing drum & bass producers with an authentic selection of new drum loops and musical patterns straight from the core of his production setup.

Costing a paltry £25, the pack contains 172 samples in a range of file formats, along with 21 software sampler patches compatible with Kontakt, Reason, Halion, EXS24, and any SFZ-reading application
