When I do actually get round to writing this, I tend to try and pick at least a couple of my favourite nights that are taking place over the weekend. 

This week though, I have chosen just a singular event as (in my opinion at least) there is one party that towers over any other that takes place over those two free days that we work all week for.

Each month, Toby Tobias (Rekids) Dolan Bergin (Electric Minds) and Danny Clark (Late Night Audio Recordings) are using their Late Night Audio parties to showcase some of the finest talent from up-and-coming labels, as well as from a few special guests thrown in for good measure.

Last month they featured the delights of hot new imprint, The Ambassadors, when Steve Kotey and Dutch disco overlord Loud E caused a roadblock act of godly proportions, whilst this month Tiny Sticks owners Mock n Toof star alongside label artist Fabrizio Mammarella.

Tiny Sticks was started by Mock n Toof in 2005 and has released tracks by the likes of Prins Thomas, Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area) & Lindstrom.

Italian Mammarella has released on Bear Funk Gold, Brontosaurus Recs and of course Tiny Sticks. Things went a bit crazy when Ivan Smagghe included ‘Tear Up’ in his Fabric mix (#23).

In case that you are not quite yet convinced, the music style is described as deep techno, Balearic boogie, acid funk, tracky disco, and Afro-soul, all of which sounds mint!
