Whilst nearly all the dance buzz in the last year has been emanating from Sweden, the French dance elite has quietly gone about their game honing their sound and constantly delivering. Lifelike is leading the next generation with his simple hook-laden productions reeking of Gallic panache, and that are equally accessible to the uber cool or Ritzy crowd pleasers alike.

‘So Electric’, the follow-up to ‘Discopolis’, is every bit as good building to a crowd hand-clapping climax.

And don’t rule out ‘Discomachine’ sounding like a homage to that other great French producer, Cerrone.
