Lee Burridge cuts up Movement 2008

is such a nice guy.
He turned up to Movement festival in Detroit full of energy and smiles (check after the jump for a video of him rocking the decks), despite the fact he was super tired from spinning in Australia a few days ago.
Along with his record bags Lee also carried a saw, which he had found behind one of the stages at Movement.

Who’s a pretty boy? Lee Burridge is
“I borrowed it as a homage to my mate Bill Patrick,” explained Lee, grinning whilst wearing a mask.
“Bill always dances like he’s sawing something, so I thought I’d test out the saw dance for myself.”
Throughout Lee’s set he did the saw dance, making everyone around him and down front crack up in the process.
It got Beatportal thinking.
Whilst the role of the DJ is to entertain people through music, there can be more to it than spinning records.

A DJ can make people smile and have a good time simply by having fun themselves, and Lee Burridge had an aura of fun floating around him like there was a little fluffy pink cloud floating above his head.
Some DJs take themselves far too seriously, but Lee showed that it’s ok to have fun whilst spinning serious music.
