The New York band with an electronic edge has just kicked off a joint tour with Indie rockers Arcade Fire.

Now on their second album, ‘Sound of Silver’, LCD continue to cement their initial impact of 2002’s anthem ‘Losing My Edge’.

This video of the accessible ‘All My Friends’ is one of their latest.

The main man behind LCD Soundsystem is James Murphy, also credited as one-half of the influential DFA record label. DFA made its name as an electronic/indie rock hybrid label, helping to spur the popularity of outfits like The Rapture and, of course, themselves.

The current jaunt of nine dates with Arcade Fire through October takes them from California to New York. Four more headlining dates follow in Ireland and the UK.
