La Guitarra
Orjan Nilsen [Armind]
16 June, 2008 | 10.02PM- Section: Music Reviews Topics: Beatport Blog
You may recognise the name Orjan Nilsen from Ferry Corsten’s latest mix ‘Gatecrasher Live’, which features the track ‘Black Mamba’.
Now Orjan’s back, but with the less dark, more euphoric trance tune ‘La Guitarra.’
It’s an instrumental, uplifting record, which, as you’d expect, features a guitar. Possibly categorised as ‘feel good euphoria,’ ‘La Guitarra’ has a summery feel and could essentially be the trance tune of the summer.
Armin van Buuren named it ‘Tune of the Week’ on his radio show ‘A State of Trance’ and Norwegian-born Orjan featured as record company Armada’s ‘Artist of the Week’ in May.
With its Spanish name and a Balearic remix, it won’t be surprising if it’s played all over Ibiza this summer.
Listening to ‘La Guitarra’, you know it’ll be one of those records that will bring back memories when you hear it in the future.
