Kiki & Lenz: Morning Maniacs

And here we thought our mornings were rough; at least we didn’t wake up lost in the woods and puking with hunger. (Well, there was that one time, but we’ve mostly blocked that out.)

Director David Sedlaczek has come up with an appropriately manic video for Kiki & Lenz’ ”Morning Maniacs,” released in January as part of the Bpitch Control Werkschau compilation. The visuals make a nice contrast to the tune’s easy, jacking glide, which hears Kiki venturing into old-school house territory that turns out to suit him quite well.

“Morning Maniacs” is also available in an extended version as part of the ”Werkschau EP 2,” along with cuts from Cormac and Aerea Negrot. And for more Kiki, don’t miss his recent remixes of Chaim, Dixie Yure, Tiefschwarz, and Thugfucker.
