Detroit’s techno godfather Kevin Saunderson is one electronic music’s most important artists and DJs. Beatportal, with the help of our good friends Dancetrippin’, caught up with Kevin in his hotel room in Rotterdam in The Netherlands to find out more about his music and his life.

Kevin revealed the details of his first ever gig, his love for DJing and techno, and his fascination with Final Scratch.

Kevin Saunderson runs the record label KMS Records.
