Karoshi Bros search for undiscovered vocalists

Newcastle (UK) based alternative dance act Karoshi Bros. [a] are once again on the lookout for undiscovered vocalists following the success of their debut single ‘Love The World’ (released on Woodville [l], and as the hype currently builds around the forthcoming ‘Vive La Difference’ (released 2nd March).

Both of these singles used the dangerous policy of inviting vocal virgins in to sing, but have been so well received that the Bros are beginning a quest to find more obscure and eccentric vocalists during 2009.

The Karoshi Bros. [a] story began in November 2007 with ‘Love The World’, released on We Are Woodville [l].  The vocals on the single came all the way from Shenyang in China after the Karoshi Bros were contacted via Myspace by a lady named Zhang who had never sung before.  Support flooded in from Radio 1 DJs as diverse as Pete Tong [a] and Huw Stephens, Kiss FM’s Loose Cannons and XFM’s John Kennedy.  A-list club DJs were also quickly on the case including Norman Cook [a], Erol Alkan [a] and Laurent Garnier [a], thanks to tasty remixes from Magik Johnson [a], Flash Atkins, Ingo Star Cruiser and Sam Roqwell.

The follow up, ‘Vive La Difference’ features the never-before-heard vocal talents of two French ladies.  This is the one and only time you will hear Anne and Camille doing the ‘ooh la la’s’ for their English chums.  The single is set to drop in early March and will feature remixes from Loose Cannons [a], Dmerit and House Surgeons.

As the Karoshi Bros begin their mission to find obscure and eccentric vocalists, those who fancy a punt at appearing on future songs are invited to drop them a line via www.myspace.com/karoshibros.
