Josh Wink’s Ovum turns 15

As anyone who’s ever been a teenager can tell you, 15 is a volatile age, but that’s not stopping Josh Wink from taking his Ovum label out on the road in celebration of its first decade and a half. (We can only assume that the formerly dreadlocked DJ, knowing a thing or two about youthful rebellion, will make a good chaperone.)

All kidding aside, Ovum is growing up quite nicely: KiNK’s ‘E79’, featured in Wink’s top 10 below, must be one of the sweetest tracks in the label’s history, while D’Julz’ deep, muscular ‘Baka Gaijin’ is anything but adolescent in spirit. Read on for tour dates and Wink’s chart, featuring Jimpster, Brett Johnson, and more decidedly grown-up house and techno.
