We recently caught up with Dutch techno DJ Joris Voorn to discuss his routes into electronic music, the development of his sound and his influences.
Joris revealed that his sound drifts anywhere from deep house to minimal, as well as throbbing techno and tech house.
Joris runs the highly respected label Rejected, and in our exclusive video interview he discussed the proliferation of music production software, and the problems that DJs and record labels owners face over the ever-increasing quantity of releases each week.
He made some interesting points about the rise of the digital age - particularly the fact that nowadays there’s too much new music to listen to, and too many half-decent records.
