John O’Callaghan to make Essential Mix debut

July 12th will see John O’Callaghan make his Essential Mix debut for Radio 1.

The world famous weekly radio show, presented by Pete Tong, will feature an uninterrupted guest mix from John, which will represent his style of music.

He says it is an “honour” to have been chosen, as in the past some of the world’s biggest DJs have been selected for the Essential Mix.

Previous Essential Mixes include Paul Oakenfold’s award-winning Goa Mix, which is considered groundbreaking for the westernisation of trance music.

Tune in tonight from 3 AM to hear John’s own Essential Mix.
