John Digweed does it solo in Toronto

Ten minutes from the Canadian border on the way to Toronto yesterday, Sasha realised one of his bags was missing.

That bag contained all the necessary travel documentation he would need to cross the border.

So poor old Sasha had to get off the bus and John Digweed had to perform by himself at Kool Haus in Toronto.

Normally this would be a crisis because many people had pre-booked tickets to see both Sasha and John Digweed, but the Toronto clubbers and Digweed took it all in their stride - it was one of the best shows of the tour so far, and was rammed all the way till 5am close.

That shows the level of professionalism John Digweed has - he played a killer set that spanned five hours, and rocked it all the way to the end without his partner.

It was pouring with rain (again!) outside, but inside there was nothing but smiles and enthusiastic dancing.

Here’s a video of John rocking the dancefloor of Kool Haus with a quality techy track that he’s been playing quite a lot on tour.

There’s probably a lot of people that would like to ID this track.
