Jerry Ropero releases ‘The Storm’ on Kingdom Kome
5 May, 2008 | 4.12PM- Section: Music News Topics: House Nation
Kingdom Kome may have already signed Jerry Ropero’s hot new single ‘The Storm’ onto Positiva for a summer release, but you won’t have to wait till then to download a copy.
What originally surfaced as an instrumental (as they invariably do) 18 months ago, won admiration from the likes of Axwell, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Sebastien Ingrosso, and now has a topline added by vocalist Cozi. (She previously recorded ‘Baby When The Light’ for David Guetta last album).
The result is a climatic hands-aloft song to match the rhythm-smart production that has enough commercial appeal to see it win daytime radio support.
But I am surprised it’s not subtitled ‘I’m Nothing Without You’, as the dominant hook is throughout the song.
Expect the current mixes from John Dahlback and Inpetto (the guys behind ‘Toca’s Miracle 2008’) to be joined by new versions from the Dons & DBN shortly.
