Japan: Getting ready for Metamorphose

It’s time for the biggest open air dance event in the country.

It’s time for Metamorphose Festival, which will be held this weekend Saturday 23rd from 6pm till 9am on Sunday in Izu, Japan.

Some of this year’s main acts include: Galaxy 2 Galaxy, a very special reunion of Manuel Gottsching’s Ashra band, Cobblestone Jazz, Theo Parrish, Joe Claussell, Jah Shaka, DJ Krush, Matthew Dear, Fumiya Tanaka and Josh Wink.

There are some agonising decisions to be made… Plan ahead and make sure you take at least 30 minutes into account for walking from one stage to another, as they are quite far apart.
