James Zabiela’s debut Beatport chart
James Zabiela’s debut Beatport chart
18 August, 2008 | 1.48AMJames Zabiela knows how to burn up a dancefloor.
Lady killer by default with his boy-next-door good looks and down to earth demeanor - right next to his sublime DJ skills - this cat is one DJ who is enjoying more than his 15 minutes of unadulterated fame, and not without reason.
Renowned knob twiddling tech-head and self-confessed fan of A-ha, the Cure and Morrissey [see for yourself what’s on his iPhone ], James Zabiela has finally got a debut chart on Beatport, which seems to offer a little somethin’ somethin’ for everyone in terms of genres and mood.
For starters, it includes Miles Dyson’s ‘Live in Mexico’ right alongside Ladytron’s ‘Runaway’ and later moves on to a Christian Smith & John Selway rework of Kevin Saunderson’s classic ‘Rock to the Beat’.
But don’t let me give it all away - check it after the break for yourself.
Nasty!
