James Zabiela plays an exclusive 3-hour Sunday afternoon set
14 January, 2008 | 11.55AMAfter a painfully lengthy hiatus, the legendary Push Sunday Sessions returns to our fair city of London to kick the New Year into touch with James Zabiela
in tow for another marathon 12-hour shindig in association with RPM Magazine on February 3rd at The White House in Clapham, South London.
Zabiela’s 2007 was all about his one+one venture with Nic Fanciulli
– an innovative back-to-back concept which saw the pair spin at all the world’s most revered clubs and festivals, release a stunning 2-disc CD through Ministry of Sound, and record a breathtaking Essential Mix for Radio1. Being part of this dynamic duo has allowed him to hone his already astounding technical skills even further, with his sets becoming even more diverse as a result of his musical cross-pollination with Fanciulli. His production work continues to impress, with the gorgeous Balearic-tinge ‘Human’ and the eclectic ‘Perseverance EP’ continuing his fine body of work for Renaissance.
After a painfully lengthy hiatus, the legendary PUSH SUNDAY SESSIONS returns to our fair city of London on February 3rd to kick the New Year into touch with Zabiela in tow for another marathon 12-hour shindig in association with RPM Magazine. PUSH had another huge 2007 – with sensational parties at KOKO featuring Armand van Helden, the sold-out NYE extravaganza with Junior Jack & Kid Crème, a debauched boat party, and of course the rammed-to-the-rafters arena at South West Four on Clapham Common. For the 2nd year running, they’ve secured the talents of Zabiela for one of their naughty little White House all-dayers – giving London’s more discerning party-people the chance to experience this world-famous talent in an intimate venue…for 3 hours…on a Sunday afternoon…an unmissable prospect.
With the next few months seeing him play at huge venues like Pacha NYC and Womb in Tokyo as well as the massive 4-date Good Vibrations festival in Australia, this really is a truly unique opportunity to witness one of the most talented DJs in the history of dance music up close and personal.
THIS IS JAMES ZABIELA’S ONLY SCHEDULED LONDON GIG OF 2008 SO FAR!
With 12 hours and 2 rooms at this gorgeous venue, there’s plenty of hot up-and-coming talent to check out – with those ever-dependable guys from RPM DJs rocking it downstairs, while the High Heels DJs come fresh from gigs at KOKO, The Cross, Heaven and The Scala to rock the upstairs bar.
Whether you’re still going from the night before, or coming down just for this extra-special occasion – you are guaranteed one of the most electric atmospheres to be experienced in the whole of London! You’d best forget about that early meeting on Monday morning!
THE MARATHON 12 HOUR KNEES-UP RETURNS.
