Itzamna Recordings has devoted its life to evolving underground, electronic sounds since its beginning four years ago, when house and deep tribal was the buzz, until now, with techno music, tech house and progressive house taking charge of blowing up the world’s dance floors. Regardless of trends, we continue to push the boundaries of underground dance music.

Without a doubt, these musical genres have reached all sides of the globe. Starting from Chicago, Detroit and Germany, spreading like a virus to all the hidden corners of the world, all the way to Central America, specifically El Salvador, aka The Tiniest Country In America. How do we know? Because we’ve found it right here in our backyard, as a flourishing culture, the exact reason why we created a home for these passionate artists with this sublabel of Istmo Music [l]. It’s been a consistent pleasure to find techno talent right here in our small country, like our most recent local artists, Revnoise [a] and Castillo [a].

Also, embracing all these underground sounds, Itzamna Recordings provides a variety of artists on a world-wide level, such as Pablo Acenso [a] from Argentina, Christian Berger [a] from Peru, Soul Clap [a] from New York, Kriece [a] from Australia, and Audiodrop [a] from Costa Rica, amongst others.

But every label must have an artist who represents it, pricking people’s ears so they know what inhuman, messed-up underground sounds this label has, for them to go bonkers when the artist drops one of Itzamna’s tracks in a live set performance. But who takes this responsibility for all these peoples’ acts of craziness? None other than Francis Davila [a], who has signed his own tracks to our label and who will be performing live at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, layering Itzamna tracks throughout his set to spark the minds of thousands of EDM lovers.

For this reason we announce our official Itzamna Recordings Miami 2009 compilation which, provides 10 tracks to give you that festive and fresh Miami spirit and sound. Check our local and international artists on this compilation, and keep your ears tuned on the dance floor because these tunes will be buzzing all over Miami.
