iStylophone on its way

What do Kraftwerk’s ‘Pocket Calculator’, Orbital’s ‘Style’, and David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’ have in common?

A little something called The Stylophone.

And what do you have in common with Kraftwerk, Orbital and Bowie?

Well - if you have an iPhone - as of December 1, 2008, you can have your very own virtual Stylophone.

iStylophone, by TVCSC, is nearing completion and while we haven’t actually heard it, we think it sure is pretty.

So, if it sounds as good as it looks – and is priced in the App Store’s five-dollar sweet spot – it looks like TVCSC might have a follow-up hit to Dübreq’s original.

Of course, hardware fiends and purists can skip the waiting and buy a recreation of the original right now.
