When we arrived in Ibiza we knew we would visit Space, Amnesia and all the other superclubs.

To our shock and amazement, we discovered that one of the best (with a dancefloor that moves at over 30 mph) was right under our noses.

There is huge demand to get into this club in Ibiza, and it’s so exclusive that even DJs like Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox haven’t played there yet.

It’s the only venue in the world that asks you to pay when you leave…

It’s a taxi, and every one we’ve been inside so far has been playing electronic music, including this one that pumps out 140 bpm electro house and breaks.

Sometimes they place trance, sometimes techno, but always dance music.

Ibiza is one of the only places in the world where electronic music seem to be everywhere.

It’s the eternal soundtrack to clubs, taxis, restaurants, bars and shops.

Where else in the world would a taxi be airing cutting-edge beats from a CD, and not radio?

This means that either taxi drivers buy the CDs, are given them or perhaps even mix them themselves.

The real question is: do cab drivers actually like this music or do they play it because they think their customers do?
