In recognition of International Women’s Day, we’ve selected 13 of our favorite female producers and DJs. Throughout the day, we’ll be featuring them along with their top 10 charts and playlists of their top tracks.

London’s Maya Jane Coles was one of 2010’s great breakout success stories: just two years into her solo production career, her single “What They Say” landed in Beatport’s top 30 most charted tracks of the year, and it went to #4 on Resident Advisor’s list. Her tracks have been snapped up by Toolroom Records, Bargrooves, and Azuli Records, and she continues to develop her deep, nuanced tech-house sound for Hypercolour, Mobilee Records, and others. As if that weren’t enough, she’s also a member of the dubstep duo She Is Danger, with remixes under her belt for Massive Attack, Delphic, and Gorillaz.
