Indeks music - new electronic history begins!
4 December, 2008 | 3.25AMNew electronic history begins….In our music you won’t hear any acquainted samples and sounds, which are being the most popular nowadays.
We change clear and mastered tunes as 303 and 909 to new generation of sounds: dirty rhythms, deaf & noisy bass, distant wistful strings…!
These tracks have self life and fate, they breathe & feel as human beings and change simple conception of modern music. That’s why music interests of indéks go beyond and further than modern dance music.
The main idea and aim of this label is to use ‘waste production’ of modern sounds. Otherwise we use and play sounds which are being identified as errors, defects in modern music. It’s our Foundation. Such tunes are resurrected and re-played in our sound system, where simple human laws don’t have any permission to live. Trying to identify music which are released on indéks, Antoine Caesar gets in dilemma: “Most labels are quite similar nowadays, for example: Minus, Cocoon or Malatoid. They release music and sounds for deejays. As a rule dj’s perception is quite narrow. When I started playing vinyl, we used to play house, funk and soul music. But those days are over. My team and I don’t follow modern trends, we try create own sound and brand. Our philosophy is simple: We release music we like”.
First release “Rotten Wars” has very definite trend – break everyone, who has loyalty towards rhythm.
Today Antoine Caesar & Timur Valiev present first their cooperative work for demonstration in new course of lectures for techno lovers. This release in some meaning is a real training for hearing. When sounds of “Rotten Wars” get bent for criticism and ear corroding it seems that generally it sounds far from good-looking and in very annoying way. “Rotten Wars” bring some kind of risky sound form, but highly demanded according to this feature in some layers. Such perspectives especially amaze looking to the background of primary indéks tendency.
In the case of “Chicks Attacks” some special moves are required: hard tramping, hand swaying and rolling. The message of “Chicks Attacks” is quite simple: minimum of thought, maximum of preparation. So you should not worry about the bass line – it sounds here powerfully and cheeky. No one will resist it’s pressure, especially among critics.
These two sound collections are not in active rotation yet, but already attracted attention of leading German employees. In general this work may be classified as passion for rare and scarce tracks, which, for all surprise, do not contradict any traditions.
“Antoine Caesar & Timur Valiev - Rotten Wars” will be available since November, 26 in all on-line music stores.
