Our favorite iPhone app – iDrum – just got even more useful for EDM producers.

Back in August, we reviewed the original iDrum releases and were blown away by their functionality and intuitive features.

Their latest edition, the aptly titled iDrum: Ministry of Sound Anthems (iTunes link), includes an array of totally professional samples gathered from the MoS vaults.

The combination of iDrum’s killer user interface and Ministry of Sound’s legendary tracks makes the $5.99 US price a massive bargain in our eyes.

Here’s what’s included in the download:

- iZotope’s critically acclaimed iDrum app (reviewed here).
- Over 300 original classic and old school dance samples
- 20 unique kits with dozens of pre-made patterns.

As the companion to Ministry of Sound’s newest album representing clubbing history, “Anthems II,” this special edition of iDrum is an extraordinary achievement – and yet another reason to switch to Apple’s insidiously addictive Internet device.

And of course, now were even more curious as to what else is in the iDrum pipeline.
