Iarmaroc Fest is a unique open air festival taking place in Romania. Coming from the ancient “Iarmaroc” - a fair with loads of fun for everyone, the concept turned into the biggest artistic happening in the Romanian scene. Combining arts with games, everything linked together by a responsible eco attitude, Iarmaroc is for sure the most promising festival around.

IARMAROC FEST 2010 - 21, 22, 23 May 2010

In 2010, we continue the Iarmaroc adventure and we expand it. For two nights and three days we’ll hear more than 200 artists, who will perform at 14 stages of the festival. You’ll be able to choose between: rock, folk, funk, tech, breakbeat, acid techno, goa, drum&bass, chill-out, reggae, hip-hop, house and electro. Whatever you prefer, we invite you to dance to the last beat.

Iarmaroc Fest is a big gathering of music, art and various people, an introduction in the contemporary way of life and party, an invitation to a communication field for everyone to express free what they feel. The forest is wrapped in mystery and magic, with laser games, lights, fire and magicians.

We’re open to new artistic dimensions so, this year we bring you Iarmaroc Film Fest. You will watch the projections of romanian documentaries made between 1920 and 1940.

Between few strong dance sessions, we advise you to stop and watch the theatrical plays, the photography exhibitions, the workshops of painting, sculpture and drawing. You’ll have time for shopping also, supporting the creativity of more than 100 sellers in the bazaar of hand-made products.

Feel free to express the child in you into the Fun & Games area: tiroliana, special climbing wall, spider web, indian bridge, inflatable sumo and box rings, suspended bridge, archery and pirate web.

At Iarmaroc we offer you maximum comfort, so we prepared especially for you: a railed camping area provided with security, light, showers, toilets and safe deposit boxes; traditional and eco food points, a lot of bars and a chill area with hammocks and swings for the necessary rest and relaxation to regain the energy for a new round of fun.

Camping
Accommodation :  5 lei/person/day (if you have your own tent)
Accommodation : 100 lei/2 persons for 3 days (tent and sleeping bags are included)

You must know that:

• In order to celebrate the elimination of romanian visas for Serbia, all the Serbian citizens that will come with the passport at the festival will get free pass.
• We organize transfer by bus from Bucharest, every two hours according to the schedule listed on www.iarmaroc-fest.ro

The first Iarmaroc Fest edition happened in 2009, with a line-up of 100 foreign and romanian artists along 8 stages, each one dedicated to a different style of music. There were 5000 participants. The festival gathered art workshops, sports areas, hand-made bazaar with 40 sellers.
